Why do New York families choose online Quran classes?

New York families live fast-moving weeks, with school, work and long journeys across the city. Online lessons take away the travel, so the class fits into the day at home.

• No commute. Your child joins from home on a laptop, tablet or phone.
• One teacher for one child. The lesson follows your child's pace.
• Male or female teacher. You choose what suits your family.
• A report after every class. You can see what was covered without sitting in the lesson.

What time are online Quran classes in New York?

The time difference is larger for New York than for the UK or the Gulf. Bangladesh stays on UTC+6 all year, so New York is 11 hours behind Bangladesh in winter (EST) and 10 hours behind in summer (EDT). Afternoon and evening hours in New York fall late at night or in the early hours in Bangladesh, so families usually look at early morning or weekend slots. We agree each class time with you. These are examples only; the exact time is confirmed with you:

New York time	Bangladesh time (winter, EST)	Bangladesh time (summer, EDT)	Who it suits
7:00 AM to 8:00 AM	6:00 PM to 7:00 PM	5:00 PM to 6:00 PM	Before school or work
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (weekend)	8:00 PM to 9:00 PM	7:00 PM to 8:00 PM	Weekend morning

When the US clocks change in March and November, tell us and we confirm that your slot still works.
