Meet Our Male and Female Online Quran Teachers

Learn Al Quran Online BD has male and female Quran teachers, including Hafiz, Hafiza, Qari and Maulana, who teach Bangladeshi children and adults abroad live and 1-to-1 on Google Meet. Classes are mostly in Bangla, with English-speaking teachers for students who need English. The fee is 5,000 BDT a month, and you can meet a teacher first in a free trial class.

Choosing a Quran teacher is a decision about trust. You are handing a part of your child's Islamic upbringing to someone you have never met in person. So here is who our teachers are, what each of them teaches, and how we match a family with the right one.

Who are our online Quran teachers?

Our academy is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and our teachers are Bangladeshi. Some teach sisters and children, some teach brothers, and some teach both. This is how our teachers describe themselves and their work on our About Us page.

Can I choose a male or female teacher?

Yes. Many families prefer a female teacher for their daughters, and some prefer a male teacher for their sons. Tell us your preference when you book the free trial. We will arrange it, subject to teacher availability.

What language do the teachers use?

Most classes are taught in Bangla. For children abroad who do not speak Bangla, we have English-speaking teachers who explain in English. If your child understands better in English, say so when you book, and we will match you with a teacher who can do that.

How do you match a family with a teacher?

We look at four things:

  1. Your child's course and level, for example beginner Qaida or advanced Hifz.
  2. Gender preference, male or female teacher.
  3. Language, Bangla or English explanation.
  4. Your time zone and free hours, because classes are held at a time that suits your family, for example in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Qatar, Malaysia or Singapore.

The teacher is confirmed after the free trial, so you and your child can see whether it feels right.

How do you keep teaching quality high?

  • Live and monitored classes. Every class is on Google Meet and is monitored.
  • Daily reports. Teachers send a daily report on each student.
  • Monthly reports. Guardians receive a monthly progress report.
  • Weekly teacher meetings. Teachers meet every week to discuss student feedback.

These reports mean you are not guessing. You can see what was taught and how your child is doing.

What does it cost?

The fee is 5,000 BDT a month, about 41 USD, for any course and for 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Each class is 1 hour. Read our pricing guide for diaspora parents for a comparison. UK families can also read our UK guide.
